About Chanèle

I was the first person in my Grade 2 class to read 100 books.

I still remember the tiny certificate they gave me (in fact, it is still displayed in my grandparents’ home!) and how proud I felt seeing my name on it.

That moment didn’t just spark my love of reading. It sparked my obsession with stories, language and decoding why people think, feel and act the way they do.

Today, I’m still very much an avid reader and I have turned my love for great storytelling into a career as an creative communications leader, digital strategist and educator. Over the last decade, I’ve helped brands and executives show up with clarity and confidence. Whether I’m crafting strategic campaigns or launching thought leadership platforms, I turn fast-moving cultural signals into brand-relevant insights that drive action — and ideally, conversation.

I’m driven by one big question: How do we stay human, visible, and fulfilled in a world shaped by tech and constant change?

I help companies and leaders to:

🧠 Decode cultural signals and identify brand-relevant opportunities

✍️ Develop editorial and creative strategies that are both thoughtful and timely

📣  Craft compelling content for thought leadership platforms (LinkedIn, keynotes, newsletters and visual assets)

🤖 Integrate AI tools into content and planning workflows to unlock speed and insight

🎤 Understand emerging technology, trends and online culture through insightful presentations

My unique experience as a public speaker, content creator and media expert allows me to bring first-hand insights to thought leadership efforts. I’ve delivered 150+ keynotes, workshops, and panels for organizations like RBC, Uber, and Reebok and have been featured in Fast Company, Globe & Mail, Elle Canada and more. My on-air career insights have appeared on Breakfast Television, Global’s The Morning Show and CHCH Morning Live. I’ve also taught business storytelling and personal branding at Seneca College and George Brown College in Toronto.

I hold an Honours BA in Communications Studies from McMaster University and post-graduate certificates in Public Relations and Digital Marketing Management. I am also a Certified Employer Brand Strategist and Certified Career Strategist. Additionally, I’m a Certified Prompt Engineer and hold an Ethics in AI certificate from The London School of Economics and Political Science.

Named one of PR in Canada’s Top 30 Under 30, one of the Top 100 Black Women to Watch and a Top 25 Woman of Influence, I’m proud of the work I’ve done and even more excited about what’s next. Let’s work together!

My mission in life is not merely to survive but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humour and some style.
