I was the first person in my class to read 100 books.

That moment didn’t just spark my love of reading. It sparked my obsession with stories, language and decoding why people think, feel and act the way they do.

That obsession became a career. Over the past 10+ years, I've worked as a communications leader across fintech, edtech and telecom, with organizations including Capital One, TELUS, Coursera and Sanofi. I’m particularly adept at navigating large, matrixed organizations where communications is never simple and the stakes are almost always high.

I started my career in the social media era, at a moment when the rules of audience engagement were being rewritten and most organizations were figuring it out in real time. Learning to translate emerging platform logic into communications strategy (and help skeptical audiences find their footing!) turned out to be the most useful training I could have had because that same challenge is exactly what the AI era is asking of communicators now. Day to day, I build AI-powered workflows and custom tools using Claude and other LLMs to drive my work across internal and external communications, executive thought leadership and digital strategy.

Outside my corporate work, I'm an experienced public speaker on AI, communications and career strategy. I've delivered 150+ keynotes, workshops and panels, including a TEDx talk, for organizations including RBC, Uber and Reebok. My expert commentary has appeared in Fast Company, The Globe & Mail, and on Breakfast Television, CHCH Morning Live and Global's The Morning Show. I have taught Business Storytelling at Seneca College and Personal Branding at George Brown College, and I write Today's Brand, a newsletter on AI, professional identity and the future of work. I'm currently completing a Master's in Digital Futures at King's College London which keeps me close to the research shaping what comes next.

I've served on Professional Advisory Committees for Seneca College and Humber College, supporting their Public Relations and Content Strategy programs, and I'm a founding team member of Accelerate Her Future. I'm proud to have been named one of PR in Canada's Top 30 Under 30, a Top 100 Black Woman to Watch, and a Top 25 Woman of Influence. I'm proud of the work behind those recognitions and even more energized by what's still ahead.

I also have an extensive educational background and I'm a proud lifelong learner.
